Training Guidelines, Disclaimer and Conditions


Should a person have any concerns regarding their health and practicing Pilates, written or verbal advice should be sought from that person’s GP or surgeon e.g. following a period of ill health or surgery.


All Clients must read the Training Guidelines and Disclaimer below and submit a completed PAR-Q (available to download in the Members’ Area) prior to attending their first Pilates class/session. 


A 48 hour cancelation policy applies to all personal (1:1 and 1:2) Pilates sessions. 

Online Training Guidelines (in accordance with FitPro Instructor and Teacher Public Liability Insurance)

It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure: 


  • there is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment and other hazards – a minimum of four square metres per person;

  • any equipment is safe and in a suitable condition for the activity being performed;

  • the surrounding floor space is entirely clear to remove any hazards that may increase the risk of slips, trips or falls;

  • there are no distractions throughout the duration of the session; and

  • there is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation and hydration. 

Regarding participating children and minors, any children or minors participating should be supervised at all periods and throughout the online fitness session by an adult.

To reduce and avoid injury, you will want to check with your doctor before beginning any fitness programme. By performing any fitness exercises without supervision, you are performing them at your own risk. Natalie Righetti and Vita Sana Pilates Ltd will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of this fitness programme, DVD, online fitness video or information shared on our website. This includes emails, videos and text. 


Regarding Pilates equipment, the very minimum you will require to attend a class/session is a Pilates mat (minimum 10mm thickness). 


The following small equipment is optional but is used in some of the Pilates classes and home workout and tutorial videos:

  • Pilates blocks (for sitting on - very useful if you have any lower back or hip issues)

  • Pilates head pad (very useful if you have neck issues or sleep with more than one pillow)

  • Foam Rollers™

  • Fitness Circles™

  • Flex-Bands®

  • Stability Balls™

  • Toning Balls™
